    Our soft knitted rope produced with texturized E-grade fiberglass yarns. The filaments
    have thin diameters of 9µm and undergo to a pressurized air jet to generate higher volume
    between the single filaments. Additionally, to increase the temperature resistance, the knitted
    rope is coated with a special coating formulation that protects the single filaments against long
    time exposure to high temperature sources.

    Thermo gasket is a highly resilient textile gasket designed for high tempereture applications. The outer surface is composed of multitwined fiber glass yearn that found a rounded tube.To improve the resiliency of the gasket a special supporting tube made of stainless steel wire is inserted inside the tube.     NOMEX® and KEVLAR® are aromatic polyamides or aramids developed by DuPont. The term aramid derives from the word aromatic and amide (aromatic + amide), which is a polymer with many amide bonds repeating in the polymer chain. Therefore, it is categorized within the polyamide group.

    It has at least 85% of its amide bonds attached with aromatic rings. There are two main types of aramids, categorized as meta-aramid, and para-aramid and each of these two groups have different properties relating to their structures.

    BASFLEX is a product formed by intertwining multiple fibers made of basalt filaments. The yarns are drawn from the melt of basalt stones and possesses high elastic modulus, outstanding chemicals and thermal/heat resistance. Additionally, the basalt fibers have very low humidity absorption compared to glass fibers.

    The Basflex braid has excellent heat and flame resistance. It is non flammable, have no dripping behavior, and have no or very low smoke development.

    Compared to braids made of fiberglass, the Basflex have higher tensile modulus and higher impact resistance. When immersed in alkaline medium, the basalt fibers have 10-fold better weight loss performances compared with fiberglass.

    Glass fibers are man made filaments originated from components found in nature. The major element contained in fiberglass yarns is the Silicon Dioxiode (SiO2), which confers the high modulus characteristic and high temperature resistance.
